Roosters Kids Clinic: Funny!

My sister has 3 boys aged 9, 7 and 5. Like my brother-in-law they are rabid Roosters fans.

James, who has just turned 5 and was therefore old enough to join his brothers for the first time at today's clinic near the Sydney Football Stadium was just soooo excited.

When my sister came to pick them up after the clinic the conversation went like this:

Sis: Did you have a good time?
James: Yep.
Sis: Did you like meeting all the players?
James: Yeah but there was only five players.
Sis: Maybe they're busy getting ready for the game this weekend?
James: Yeah and Todd Carney's in gaol mum.

Yes. The 7 year old can. He currently plays for the Clovelly Crocodiles and is desperate to play for the Roosters some day. He can run, step, pass, kick goals and tackles anything that moves. He brings down those big Islander kids like a dart in a rhino.

He has his uncle's genes and could easily fill in for Carney.

Playing the wombats scores are tied after a try on full time ...kick to come

He smiles and looks to the post again

He slots it over

The kids go nuts ....icecream for everyone
