Carney lost his licence for 10 Months as part of the penality

The sentence was: 2 years good behavour, a fine ( $10,000 by the Roosters ) and loss of licence for 10 months

They cant jail him because the legislation does not allow for a Goal for Low range PCA offence, thats why the Judge had to ammend the 6 months goal term to 2 years good behavour .....

      Suck it up News............

Magistrate Jacqueline Milledge gave the Sydney Roosters five-eighth a six-month suspended sentence and disqualified him from driving for 10 months at Waverley Local Court yesterday morning. However, in a bizarre twist that order was later downgraded to a 24-month good behaviour bond when Milledge was told there was no provision available in legislation for a person to be incarcerated for low-range driving driving. As part of the amendment Carney's licence was returned to him when Milledge, impressed by his attitude, took into account his commitment to rehabilitation and a $10,000 fine and five-point plan already imposed by the Roosters.

No. After the original sentence was revoked, Carney got to keep his P's. That's what the fuss is about.

He was tailed when he was arrested. It was 7.00AM on a Saturday. It wasn't even a RBT unit or anything, just a patrol car pulling him over.
I'd say they were parked outside his place from early in the morning (having watched him at the pub the previous evening), waiting for him to get into his car.

I am so happy to be paying their wages with my taxes.

I was always suss about that, why would they suddenly pull a guy over on Coogee Bay Rd on a Saturday @ 7 am it really doesn't make sense.

My wife went mid range the night after our wedding when she hadnt had a drink for 18 hours. The solicitor got it held over this week because the magistrate for this day was a hanging judge.

Sounds like Toddy got one too. Shouldn't we be rewarding him for being the only man in the history of Australia to have an AVO taken out on him by a whole town?
