The Islanders cop a lot of criticism about being lazy. We all give it to Jared about ill-discipline.
At the same time, we reckon Kennedy has Origin written all over him, and that Ryles and Myles lead our pack.
**** me.
Frank Paul, Mose and JWH were the only ones who rolled their sleeves up, cut the bullshit, and ran straight and hard.
Sure, Ryles and Myles have a good workrate, but Jesus Christ are they LETHARGIC. They both take a year and a half to stand up and play the damn thing after they've been tackled! That is deadset the worst game I've seen from Myles in 2 and a bit years.
Martin Kennedy is too big a boy to lose 90% of his contact. Smaller blokes were sitting him on his arse, and he didn't get up and have another crack, he just lay down. Run hard, you idiot, you're built like a ****ing brick.
Now don't get me wrong, I know how good Nate can be. But he's only good when he actually cares - otherwise, he does next to **** all. As for Ryles, unless he finds some freaking enthusiasm, I'd rather get some bloke in who actually looks like he wants to get up and go again after he gets put down, and who doesn't give idiotic penalties away, or waste ten minutes a game not binding properly in a scrum.
Had to get that off my chest. These three need a wake up call. When you're that big, it's pretty damn simple. Run straight, and run hard. Get up as quickly as possible, and do it again.
