We were absolutely woeful out there. Forget the refs inconsistencies - we deserved to lose by 30 and we were lucky to get away with what we did. I swear some of our players and even our fans believe our own hype. And I swear the same groups thought this would be a walk in the park and we just had to turn up. Last season is over. Last season means nothing. We put in half-arsed efforts like that and it will be 2009 Mk II.

That little dude in the middle at half time, that was Saxon, a long time Rooster fan, he won a silver medal at the special olympics in golf, i asked him if he would win gold at the next game, he said he would rather a Roosters premiership first !!!!!

It certainly cheapens any 'heritage' or 'tradition' it engenders.

I suspect they just wore white because it was hot. Strange they didn't wear the 2011 away shirt, though.

At least next week we'll definitely get to see the proper home strip!
