There was some ridiculous penalty count. Unless the player put his foot on the ball and played it back, it was blown as a penalty. The players didn't even take heed in that game.
For some reason that game stuck with me (apart from remembering whom was playing) and I always watch the play the ball and let out a coy "He didn't play that properly!"
Just so you know, JWH is the worst. He just steps over the ball.
if it's the same game i'm thinking of, Parra were reduced to only 10 or 11 men thanks to "showpony" Harrigan.

the problem i have with "interpretation" of this new rule is that it is still open to ambiguity.
it may seem menial, but when a rule includes " or at least make an attempt" (as quoted by harrigan), it just leaves the interpretations WAY TOO OPEN !

thats the part i hate, there should be no reference to "attempting to do so" they either do or they dont.

Imo the Roosters have 3 choices when it comes to the problems we have been experiencing over the past 3 years or so with the refs.
1) Do nothing and put up with being continually ar$e r*ped every week by the ar$eholes
2) Try and get onside with them, become friends with them by inviting them to work with us at our training sessions, have constructive meetings with them etc...
3) F**king give it to them in the media and put pressure on the ar$eholes to give us a fair go!! Shove all the facts, statistics in their faces so that they can not deny or ignore it!!
We simply can not afford to take option 1, cause we found that out last year that if you want to win the comp, they will not allow you to.
Something must be done, which leaves option 2 or 3. Personally i would like to see us go down the road of option 2 and if that does not work than our only alternative would be option 3.
I am open to other suggestions to our very serious problem, and please don't mistake just how serious the problem is.
