lol ... he came from languishing in reggies and screwing porno stars and built up to it as the season progressed.
what you have to look for is bloke that can fire in the big games and ones that can deliver in a GF ,one bloke that Im a fan of but didnt deliver ..actually went missing was FPN.. sorry to say .Im not the coach but Im sure Smith has some thing figured out.
On the same token Im excited to see this Boyd Codner go around .
Hope Smithy keeps the fire burning and I think he will.

Maubs being moved back to the centres would be a step in the wrong direction - if anything it's time to elevate his game and workrate by moving him to lock and be given free roam in the middle of the park where his brilliant tackling technique can assist the props and Friend in defense and his clever footwork and offloading ability can tease tired defenders up the middle in attack. I'd rather see the likes of BJ, Cherrington and FPN running Maubs lines one in from the centre.

Myles should bulk back up a bit and move to the front row, we don't need another lean backrower.

      So I like;

      8. Ryles
      9. Friend
      10. Myles
      11. Anasta (80 minutes)
      12. FPN (wide runner)
      13. Aubusson (80 minutes)

      14. Piggy/Watts
      15. Kennedy (prop interchange)
      16. Cherrington/BJ (interchange with FPN)
      17. JWH/Masoe (prop interchange)

The bench is really tough with a hooker taking a spot, I really want to squeeze Conn in there - but where? He doesn't have the size of a Kennedy/JWH/Masoe nor the impact of a Cherro/BJ........ridiculously harsh to leave him out.

Conn will get his chance early with Anasta playing 5/8th in the first couple of
rounds and Maubs out until round 4.

yes, but which ones will shine in 2011. Myles is the standout!

I'm a Conn fan but he needs to put on a few kg's. he's not a damaging enough runner!

To be honest, if Braith wasn't captain, I'd be tempted to bench him, in order to give us more go forward in the opening exchanges. We could have something like this:

              8. Jason Ryles
              9. Jake Friend
              10. Martin Kennedy
              11. Nate Myles
              12. FPN
              13. MAubs

              14. Riddell
              15. Conn/Masoe
              16. JWH
              17. Anasta

Obviously, that won't happen, but it looks better in terms of dealing with the opening bash and barge.

Conn May not gain huge metres but creates 2nd phase play with a great offload. Him and friend were very dangerous and the end of last year!!

From an opposing fans POV, this is most threatning pack.

                  8. Ryles
                  9. Freind
                  10. Masoe
                  11. Aubbuson
                  12. Anasta (C)
                  13. Myles

                  14. Watts
                  15. Conn
                  16. JWH
                  17. Nu'uasaula

Anasta and Maubs must be in the backrow, they looked so threatning hitting holes off Carney a few passes wide of the ruck. Myles is NOT a prop foward by any lenghth for mine, he has got ballplaying ability IMO and is a real workhorse that needs to be in the middle of the paddock. He is the Roosters version of Gallen.

Unfortunately I have had to leave out players like Cherrington, BJ and Masoe who all have a lot to offer but on the bright side we have such good depth that we have players champing at the bit to get a start which will leave us in a great position during the representative period and when we suffer injuries
