    I'd go:

    6. Symonds
    7. Anasta (C)

Sodomite would be jizzing over this.
Not sure if Braith has played 7 before, but he has the assets to.

If they are both fit I'd just play Linnett or Graham as the other half.

Anasta will do the normal stuff fine, the biggest problem with Anasta in the halves is that our attack is too obvious and pedestrian.

The simple solution is to have someone completely unpredictable and dangerous as the other guy. Both of them have a decent passing game, will be dangerous running it and have good attacking kicks.

We are probably gonna struggle for those games so I'd say it's worth taking a risk rather than sending out a team that you know won't get blown out but that also won't have points in them to win.

                Realistically it'll be a Ford/Anasta combo imo.

I wonder if Luke Towers will be back in time, played in the halves at under 20's level, certainly has the running game for it.

KENT TO TAKE OFF WITH JETS
                    BY MATT FINDLAY
                    23 Dec, 2010 08:02 AM
                    RUGBY LEAGUE
HE played a massive part in ending the Sydney Roosters’ Toyota Cup season during the 2010 finals series.

But Orange’s Josh Kent is hoping there will be no hard feelings after linking with the Bondi club’s feeder team, the Newtown Jets, for the 2011 season.

After a successful 2010 Toyota Cup season with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, which ended one game short of the decider after Kent set up a match-winning try in the dying seconds against the Roosters a week earlier to push his side into a preliminary final against eventual premiers New Zealand, the Bloomfield junior has decided to part ways with the club.

Kent, 20, will be too old for the Toyota Cup next season and while he had the option of staying with the Bulldogs he decided moving on would be the best thing for his career.

Kent, who also had a two-year stint with the St George-Illawarra Dragons, hasn’t signed anything as yet, but confirmed he will be lining up for the Newtown Jets in the New South Wales Cup next season.

“I haven’t put pen to paper but I’ll be playing for Newtown next year,” he said.

Kent said moving to the Jets, the feeder team of 2010 NRL grand finalists the Sydney Roosters, would not squash any of his NRL ambitions, though he did concede it would be a hard task to break into the top grade as long as Mitchell Pearce and Todd Carney are playing in the halves.

“Obviously they (the Roosters) have guys like Pearce and Carney and (Braith) Anasta rotates in when he’s needed,” Kent explained.

“But other than that they’re struggling a bit for halves and hookers.

“At the moment this is a pretty good opportunity for me.

“They did pick up Piggy (Mark Riddell) (last) week but I think I’ve got a pretty good chance of playing first grade.”

Newtown began training on November 8 and coach Greg Matterson has Kent lined up to be his first choice No.7.

“I think I’m the only halfback in the squad, actually,” he laughed.

“We’re on Christmas break now but I have been training as first-string half.”

Next season marks the 30th anniversary of the Jets’ 1981 grand final appearance and the proud club is again determined to feature in the finals.

“I think Newtown have been top four for the last few years at least,” said Kent, a former Orange High School student.

“I’ll just be looking to play well and hopefully we end up there or thereabouts again.”

Consider yourself fortunate Johno to have missed those miserable 4 weeks towards the end of 2009.
Mini tried but looked hopelessly uncoordinated in the #6 jersey....like a fish out of water. Incredibly, from memory, it wasn't a one off. Sir Freddie persisted with him at five-eighth for a few weeks.
