Has one R.Finch come out and defended the decision yet?
Im pretty sure he will say he was comfortable with it.....

However, they got so many basic calls wrong. Saints were better but the refereeing decisions robbed us of all momentum at critical times. That, more than anything meant we didn't have a chance of beating them.
I pretty much think this is the point. They were better on the day and better all year but the shithouse refereeing put it beyond doubt. To beat the Dragons we needed our share of 50/50s and I don't think we got them.

Having said that, it is done and dusted and we will be strong next year. The bad days that were caused by Bennett shafting us are now gone - the Chooks is back!!

This picture certainly says 1000 words.

Yes the Merge played better in the second 40. I cannot help thinking had we have been 8-0 at half the second half may have not been the slaughter it was.

In the end, is over and my hope is that we belt the Merge in both games in 2011 because we have a good young side that will be a great side in a year or two.

Is it just me or was last night incredibly similar to ANZAC Day?

I agree with previous statements. We were definitely not the referee favoured team yesterday. There were alot of bad calls made against us and it definitely influenced the outcome of the game. Who knows what may have happened it we were able to keep up our momentum. Was watching with a group of people who didn't go for either team and even they thought the refs were one eyed. Not happy jan. Definitely needs looking at.

Definately ... felt like de ja vu... seems like most our games with the Dragons go that way and Ive been at the ground for all of them which makes it worse
