  • Serious NRL Problem

I know it's been done to death but have a look at the picture in this article...I cannot believe my eyes...how this was not seen...the linesman is right there and he's miles outside...he even had to veer off his line as they were going to take him out if he stayed on his course....the NRL has a very serious problem...forget the independent commission...the running of the game on the field where the result really matters is diabolical at the moment...look for yourself...

It's inexcusable, our code is still officiated like it's an amateur sport unfortunately.

Like the refs, they are 1 eyed. & certainly should have seen it
but they chose not too. Blatantly 1 eyed.

i believe this and other referee inspired events gave the dragons the encouragement to win whilst taking it away from the roosters, hopefully the fact that such terrible calls happened during a grand final will finally give the NRL the nerve to actually act on it.

if the Video is called on to check a try, they can only go as far back as the last tackle.

The question has to be asked, why didn't the Video ref check the touch line footage on the run and call on the ref to stop play and form a scrum.

The attrocious thing is the touch was right there !!!!!

You just don't learn or can't get it...not all of us have 3 Degrees and might like to discuss things...I found this article in a leading newspaper and the photo I thought was something that might interest others on here...it might not interest you...so don't read it or post about it...you would be the last person I would be looking to share this with anyway...

To come at me again after failing before shows you just don't have a good grasp of the learning part...

Exactly. I hate to say it, but if it was us in Merge's position, then they would check it for sure.

Has one R.Finch come out and defended the decision yet?

The flag would have been raised if it was Pez with the ball and Morris tackling him, you can be guaranteed of it.

at the end of the day, Braith was lucky to get his try...I mean that was 50 50 at best. The dragons would have won regardless. Damn the rain. Build a roof over ANZ

You're just tormenting yourself reliving it. We see it, they see it, nothing was done, no point worrying about it.

Only that tackle. Ie. from when the ball is played till gasnier grounds the ball.

Not in their guidelines. Must be a stoppage. From where he is, touchie couldn't have seen it... Perrett's body was in the way.

However, they got so many basic calls wrong. Saints were better but the refereeing decisions robbed us of all momentum at critical times. That, more than anything meant we didn't have a chance of beating them.
