While I couldn't be prouder of the players' efforts, I was extremely disappointed in some of our "fans" and their attitudes. I've only ever been ashamed of being seated in a group of Roosters fans once before, and unbelievably, it was also against St. George-Illawarra.
To you people that turn up for the big games only, stay away, because everybody else has a much better time without you there.

It was hard enough to bite the bullet and give them best wishes, but
I've decided to remove negative people from my life as...like most...I have enough worries of my own.
Some neutral friends were kind, though, so that helped.
Drags "supporters" using the term loosly, I am sick of hearing "When The
Saints go Marching in" either sung by a caller or having it played in my ear.
Like you Maggie I have done the same.
I can stir with the best but these were just over the top some were quite
crude. Not impressed with their "supporters"

Originally posted by Carney Army View PostI'm glad of that fact too, after some of the imbeciles that turned up yesterday. There were plenty of young kids around me, and the language used near them was nothing short of disgraceful from many people. The inconsiderate people with the umbrellas also deserve a mention. When your already sitting there with a poncho/rain jacket on, there's no need to put an umbrella up and obstruct other people's view of the game. We don't pay hundreds of dollars to look at umbrellas. Ignoring polite requests to put them down make other people angry, and therefore its no surprise that some people got agitated. The worst thing I saw though was the two grown men (30s or 40s) standing in Aisle 142 with a bit under 10 minutes left, pointing umbrellas at each other, yelling and swearing. The pair of them are a disgrace.

Dragons fans are the worst amongst the worst there is.......
Some of the worst instances we have even had, were a st george and their fans were positively feral......
Sure there are good ones and bad ones all over, but the bad ones seem to outweight the good in most cases.....

The Skull brings back so many vivid memories of the St George fan. That bloke was a complete and utter cretin. I saw him once getting onto a train, abusing everyone that was not a white australian (from his perception of white australian). It made me sick in the stomach. However, on the other hand, my brother is a dragons supporter and I have not heard boo from him, he has respect and is a good man.
