Guys, over the season we have overcome some monumental bias by the refs, but in the conditions last night they just couldn't do it.

Make no mistake, it should have been 14 nil to us at half time.

And we got one ****ing penalty the whole game.

**** News LTd and the NRL.

At least we're all better off this morning than the dead dragons supporter.

Hey boys if we had won even with da bad ref calls we wouldn't be saying it's da saints game not ours. We lost bros let's pat da boys for a good try. I'm heaps proud to be a new rooster fan and jaust thought dat da saint defense was heaps good.

And i think that is the point, it is not for the actual type of penalty or call, it is more along the perception the refs have of us that we are ill diciplined and mistake riddled.

the forward pass call on carney, the push in the back by Morris on Perret just to name 2, were clear calls that were wrong that both lead to results going against us.

but i don;t want to dwell on the incompetence of the refs, Finch is gone next year, hopefully things will be different !

Our Roosters did brilliantly to come from last to Grandfinalists, i will take that !

The ref's were in the best positions to see, you are all biased and can't see the rulings were all correct, you are all just sore losers, rugby league was the true winner today !

we got most of the bad calls sure but hardly played well enough to win
carneys pass was line ball couldve gone either way

none taken but you still have not answered the question in my post...which was my point

I agree with what you say about the blame game. It just infuriates me that you have incompetent refs deciding games. You even have NRL players on Twitter questioning refs deciding the "premiership"

Based on the rules, it was no knock on. Soward played at the ball with his legs so it was no knock on

BJ did not knock on...surely you saw Soward attempt to stop the try with his leg and dislodge the ball ? He kicked at it and connected with his knee as BJ went to plant the ball and was successful in knocking it out of his hand...

You are allowed to do that in the try zone as a defender...it is not a strip or a steal as it would be in the field of play...therefore there was no knock on...the try was correctly awarded...

imo soward was trying to stop his momentum and bj put the ball on his leg, and you are just assuming he was trying to kick it

In my eyes, that should not have been a try as to my way of thinking it is lost in the run of play BUT we have seen all year that the ref's (usually in these situations its the video ref) have interpreted the defenders trying to strip or knock the ball out of an attackers hands, then even if the ball goes forward they have allowed it as play on ...deemed six again play on. I thought Soward did thrust a leg out to try stop or dislodge the ball.

Think if they had of disallowed that, then you'd probably have just as many people saying it should have been given .....think that was always going to be a 50/50 call ......as opposed to the blatant ref/touchie mistakes I think most on here are upset about.

By the rules you cannot use your legs or feet to dislodge the ball in any situation, should of in fact been an 8 point try

Because it wasn't a knock on. Under the rules it was a try. End of story.

no mention of Dean Young losing the ball into Maubs before regathering to score, i could have copped that until i remembered a less obvious knock on called against the dogs by Braith Anasta

But seriously blaming refs isnt going to change anything, i openly admit the ref ****ed yous with the morris and young trys but the rest seemed pretty clean cut and if those trys were ruled the other way the result still probably wouldn't have changed.
