I'd prefer to lose fair and square to a better team than get imbeciles ****ing up the biggest contest of them all...yes they made a couple of bad calls to the Dragons as well...
The problem is that several of the bad calls and mistakes they made gifted the Dragons points and cost us points...
It's ****ed and as Tobin said nothing will happen...
They blundered the 2006 GF too and it cost the Storm the GF that year and the next day front page news was the refs blunders...
That should be the cover of todays papers as well...

And I didn't even mention the "forward pass", the penalty against Braith and the fact we could not get a penalty.
I don't give a **** what anyone says about "the better team won" because the fact they were the "better team" was 100% down to the officials.
That ****ing touch judge should be hung, drawn and quartered.
It was a grand final for christs sake!

The overview camera angle showed the pass was alright...
2 bad calls alone just by the linesman...not calling Morris out and they score the next play...dissallowing a try...12 point turnaround...we should have gone to half time 12-nil or 14-nil if Carney had potted the conversion from the sideline...the dynamics of the game would have changed...the outcome was influenced by the refs...simple as that...Last edited by FoghornLeghorn; 10-04-2010, 09:38 AM.

The Perrett push in the back was one meter away from him.

I called Morris out from Bay 139, approx 95m away, and he could not see it
Carney's pass was a flick pass - the ball went back off the hands
What about Morris' push in the back on Pez to force a dropout - led to their try to hit the lead. In those conditions, repeat sets are priceless
And the dragons were perfect in their eyes - we had 1 penalty for a high shot (which they were forced to give) until the 78th min....
....but the better team won.....I can cop that statement if it was 1 dud call, not many which shifted the momentum of the game

The Dragons player knocking on a kick and another Dragons player infront of him picking it up...awards a scrum and should be a penalty for offside...
There are more...
**** it shits me to the core to see this level of incompetence...03 and 04 hurt cause we lost it...this is worse for me cause the people their to uphold the rules and make the game a fair contest ****en couldn't even do their job right...

Pierce threw a forward pass to Mitch. Scrum. Should have been a penalty?
The saddest thing is JT is that whenever we lose a game the first thing that seems to get blamed is the refs. Then we point out players that need to be crucified. Then the conspiracy theories start. Then the fights start right here amongst the members. That is why I started a thread a while ago asking if people could be unbiased. The resonding answer was NO
Mate, we lost not saying fair and square but that is that.
If the conspiracy theories are true then I am looking forward to meeting the millionares that have cashed in because they knew about the fact BEFORE we were beaten. I mean if I thought that a team was going to win because the refs and the NRL wanted it so, I would put as much money as I had on it.Last edited by JohnL; 10-04-2010, 10:19 AM.
