Bennett has always had his sides go early in defence and snuff out the attack of the other teams...he's a shrewd coach that knows they might cop a penalty or 2 but eventually the refs turn a blind eye to that sneaky move...if Smith wants to win this GF he needs he needs to have the defensive line pushing the boundary all of the game as they will not police it for the whole game...the referees agenda is not to ruin the game with constant penalties so go for broke I say...you might cop a couple early on but after that they will give up...The Dragons will be doing it for the full 80 minutes so the Roosters should be aware of this Bennett ploy...he's been doing it for years...

Geez im too excitingly nervous about this massive game.. amazing week to be a Roosters fan... I feel sick about the thought of losing cause I know that if we're on our game we can cause a wreckage next Sunday on the field... but I have a feeling that they'll snag the win like they usually do

I think our young team will handle the nerves fine as they don't have the weight of expectation like Saints do. If we were overwhelming favourites I would be more concerned, but our guys look to have an infectious enthusiasm bouncing through the squad that will see them lap up the week ahead and not waste nervous energy thinking about the game.
As for Saints jumping the gun, you might see Pearce, Carney and Anasta kicking early to try and keep them back a bit.
Also, Weyman's groin injury is a big pain for them. Joey summed it up well yesterday on the Footy Show when he said they are terrible injuries and you lose a lot of your power and leg drive. He said Weyman will be fine in his first stint, but once he comes off and cools down a bit he will struggle when he goes back on.

Other important things since the change...
We have only conceded 30+ points twice since the 'season revamp' that began in Round 14 (v Broncos, v Bulldogs, we won both of those).
The games we have lost since then (Warriors, Dragons, Sharks, Titans) have all had points in which we could/should have won the game, but our attack rather than defense faulted.
We can win this season. We can do it.
