Not convinced that Boyd will win it. He would have got 3 points from last weekend but I doubt he polled too much prior to that. The Dragons lost a few games and of the games they won, he wasn't really the dominant player. He mainly goes ok when they put on a score. Toddy on the other hand probably polled about 15 of a possible 18 points in the 5 games we won on the trot plus the Manly game and played ok in the losses against the Sharks and Dragons and may have snared a point in each being close games. It would have been nice if we towelled the cowboys but I still believe he did enough and he will be declared the winner after round 25 counting.
Where's rhysee tonight? Probably crying over his poster of Gallen.
And sodomite is probably banging his forehead against a set of balls.
Hahaha I just finished watching it....benefits of IQ....
First of all, congrats to Toddy - very well deserved. He has had a great season, truly making an impact in every game, even when he had an off day, ie; v Tigers at Campelltown.
Now onto the two great disgrace's of the evening - the voting system and the lock of the ****ing year award....
The voting system is ridiculous. The fact that prettyboy backs such as Marshall, Prince, Cronk, Boyd, etc. who do absolutely nothing until after their forward pack has laid a platform for them, and still manage to wreap the votes is a complete and utter disgrace.
Luke Lewis played the majority of his games this year in the lock position. Luke Lewis was picked at lock for State of Origin 1 for the Blues and produced one of the worst performances I have ever seen. Luke Lewis missed about 5 rounds due to injury and suspension. Luke Lewis makes on average 10 runs per game, 25 tackles per game, touches the ball on average 18 times per game, contributes little offloads and has a high error count. Paul Gallen played the entirety of this year in the lock position. Paul Gallen was arguably the best player for the Blues in Games 2 and 3. Paul Gallen did not miss a single round through injury or suspension. Paul Gallen played for the last 6 weeks of the season with broken ribs. Paul Gallen averaged 24 runs per game, 33 tackles per game, 3 offloads per game, touched the ball 30 times per game, never missed a tackle, never dropped the ball and undoubtedly single handedly carried 15 other players (not including Gardner) for every single week of the season. Paul Gallen received 19 Dally M votes, making him the only forward (barring hookers) in the top 10. Luke Lewis won the lock of the year award......
To quote Didier Drogba - 'this is a complete ****ing disgrace'.
On another note, how hot was SKD's date?? **** me.
What a cutie! That grin makes me want to pinch his cheeks.
I just watched his interview and he seems quite shy and a very gracious winner. He attributes much of his success to the people around him. Very humble and notably more mature than a few years back.
