They should bomb the fark out of the tosser, he is a cat under the high ball, he wimpers under the spiral bomb, and if the prick is lucky enough to catch one 4 in the tackle and bury the prick.

No crabbing sideways when he has the ball, you must be in his face.

Chip chases to bring him closer to his front man, then he will be forever confused and out out psoition, for both bombs and running on the last.

There is no Magic formula needed.

Good kicking game and chase. Defend in a straight line and as a team. Hit hard and wrap up the ball.

Hayne is only effective when he busts a tackle and a second defender rushes up out of the line to try to finish him off. Half the time when he busts the first one, he is going sideways or backwards but the second guy rushes up and misses and creates a huge hole.

Committed kick chase is important too. Broken play is where he thrives.

It's no different to the tried and true method for shutting down any other good fullback.

          a) either prop up the signal trip so the train cannot pass a signal at stop( a fav of the scum of the earth graffitti vandals)

          b) close the emergancy brake pipe valve, the train will come to a sudden stop

          c) have someone ring with a bomb scare or a self harm cry for help, that often works.

          Take your pick

          Stand Clear doors Closing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a bit nervous about this game. The media have spent and whole week hyping it up as the match of the season and honestly, half of me is incredibly excited and the other half is dreading it.

The short turn around is what has been worrying me as well as the media taking a focus on our club and its premiership chances. I hope the boys recover well and come into the game mentally focused, and a little bit relaxed.

Hope I'm wrong but this game reminds me of the Sharks game we played after a short turnaround.

Not only did we play on a MOnday night, we had to travel and have had 3 big games in succession. We're on a wet track as well. I hope it does not get ugly so it does not affect our F/A

I feel that a wet track would actually benefit us more.

Jarryd Hayne likes the dry track and fast conditions.

Even better is that we play great attacking football in the rain as opposed to other teams that go into their shell.

I was at the Eels v Storm game earlier in the season. It rained all week in the area but the ground was in great condition. I'm expecting a decent playing surface.

I went onto Fox sports site, and saw some interview with Pearce..

Pearce said they will bomb Hayne close to the line.

Let's be honest though.. if any team in the comp is going to beat the Eels AT THE MOMENT, it's the Roosters. Panther's are struggling, as are the Dragons. Tigers might give them a run for their money if they were on their game though.
