Lockeyer and Thurston may miss tackles, but they never shirk their defensive responsibilities in a game...

In fact, the longer and tougher a game goes, both Lockeyer and Thurston become more involved in attack and defense...

Agree with you on Lockyer but not so much Thurston.

He really didn't get stuck in on Wednesday, NSW should've went to him more. I can't remember the last player to miss as many tackles as he did on Wednesday in an origin game.

soward in origin would be a joke, attack and defense
all he does for the dragons is kick, throw long cut out forward passes that rarely amount to anything, and the occasional 70m intercept/pick up a loose ball and score try

take darius boyd out of the dragons and you'll see how good soward is

and hayne must love returning kicks looking up and seeing thurston, i think thurston missed him every kick return

but thurston is by far good enough in attack, as is the rest of the qlders in defense to carry him in defense

Take soward away from morris, creagh, weyman, scott and you have seen first hand how good soward is, his kicking alone gets the dragons home, gimme pin point kicks, great passing game, and a great supporting half over a half that is non existant in attack but makes 20 tackles any day.

if gasnier could catch they win, simple really.

Soward carries the dragons, like him or loath him his first full season at halfback, minor premiers, second season looks the same again, yes they may very well choke, but where did we run last season??? he is coached by the best, the best players say he is ready, most importantly i say he is ready

                  I thought he'd been playing five-eighth.

Its okay Pearcy. I know our selectors are crap, but a 5/8 defending on the wing just aint going to cut it. You talk about lockers D. I don't see him hiding on the wing.
