Soward's defense is the one thing that holds him back, he should never play origin (while his defense isnt superb) for this reason. There's no questioning his attack, which is very, very sharp, but you can't afford to play a defensive liability like him for 80 minutes in origin.

Sounds like the kind of shit news limited sprout every origin yet when was the last time someone ran over him? He always aims up, he always digs in, that's the difference between he and Soward, ask me how many times someone has run over Soward....

Thurston on the other hand... well he's Soward esque in defence but the fact that he's the greatest attacking weapon in the game proven at every level makes up for it. Soward isn't even in the top 5 at club level so the negatives far out weigh any positives.
