It was a shocker and BJ had no chance of catching it. Pretty poor from a 5/8who was passing to his favoured side
I was actually surprised he passed early as he could have run downfield more as the cover had yet to get to him

when someone makes a break, its only natural that the support player is behind him.
the whole point is that the play maker (heck any first grade player) is meant to pass the ball onto the chest of his support player no matter if the support player was a metre behind or not.

Serious question - can anyone remember it?
The tries he scores are usually from dummy half.
Heck, I even remember lolini out in open space twice this year.
But I cant remember a single incident of our heroic captain being out in clear space with the ball in hand in his 5 years with us.

whoever extended anasta's contract should be sent to another country.
Honestly Anasta is a solid 5/8 who's game has deteriorated since 2008 some what but he always gives his all. I agree with most he's not the answer at 5/8 especially when we have Carney in the side but some of the ridiculing and bagging just doesn't even make sense, I'd put everything I own on Anasta making more linebreaks every season than Finch...
Anasta 2009 in wooden spoon winning side injured for half the season only played 13 games for 5 line breaks and 5 tries
Finch 2009 in premiership rorting side played 20 games for 4 line breaks and 3 tries.
Honestly Fred you can come up with better than that... surely.
The grass is always greener on the other side.

Solid/deterioration. My house is built on solid foundations that is sinking into the mud.
Anasta is a solid 5/8 who has deteriorated to the point Finch is better than him.
BUt he always gives his all?? right i will leave that for others to ponder.
Fact: Anasta is a horrible 5/8 because he takes up an important position that can be filled by carney. We will contine to bludge with Anasta stuck in the middle.
