It's the only way they will wake up to themselves bring them back to reality, that past reputations mean squat.
    Thats fine mate.

Who do we drop and who do we replace them with and how long do we give the new combos to gel???

We have Given Anasta 3 years and he shows nothing as a 5/8 too slow and lacks creativity rest him till he is fully fit then shift him to Lock.Carney the future 5/8 he can create something from nothing.
SKD has had years to show improvement and obviously shows nothing except that he can run and score a try which he is expected to do for a back.Replace him with Linnet or another young back.
Mini should be dropped he is lacking the basics, shithouse passing game and defence which is non existant with that arm grabbing style he is currently showing.Swap him with Towers or Perret ,now is the time to do it we are 10 weeks in now and neither of these players have shown any sign of improvement they seem to be getting worse.

Taking away the emotion of his abysmal performance on Monday night, you don't think SKD has improved since last year? In half our games this year he has been our most dangerous outside back. This year consistency is what he is lacking - last year he only played one good game all year (against his now coach).

He is also only 22 and has never had a decent first grade coach until this year. You make him sound like a veteran!

So you would move slow 5/8 to lock till he recovers??? Do you realise the workload he will be expected to do at Lock??? Seen how Pyles has been playing??? You really think Bwaiffs up to it???

What was wrong with Carnage at FB?? The only times weve looked dangerous this year have been when Carnage is at the back but playing like a pivot in attack. Bwaiffs been quiet in those games, its suited the team. I think that expirement has been very positive so far. Id go back there b4 Mini or Pezz at FB, they struggle on the wing.

As for the no improvement bit, im with FF. We have improved this year, not just the mentioned players but the whole team. With Pearce and 2 regular fit hookers we will settle again on combos and improve again I believe.

Last season we were consistently bad. This year we are inconsistent. That means we are good at times and bad at times. Thats improvement in my book. I didnt expect miracles, being consistently good is a year off at least IMO. Sure theres some pruning to be done, some deadwood out and some new faces in, including lower graders. It will just take time.

            WTF???

He can't tackle, he can't defend a bomb, he occasionally scores off a bomb but how often has that occurred this year, in attack the only time he is in space is because someone else has put him into it then it is upto the lap of the Gods what he does with it. You look at the likes of Josh Morris, Tonga, Folau, Inglis, Hodges, Cooper, Idris, Jennings. They are dangerous centres. They can create opportunities with a swerve, a palm off, drawing defenders and creating opportunites for others. This is all natural ability; nothing to do with coaching. SKD hardly gives his opposite a quiver in attack and makes them giggle when he defends against them.

I can't believe we haven't made any changes. Thats the problemn with todays game, there is no depth. They are scared to try a young bloke because of the massive gap between 1sts and Toyotoa cup or NSW cup.
I cant believe people keep defending Braith. He's a veteran and still cant produce. Stuff enthuisiam. He needs to focus.
Smithy was a great signing i thought, anything compared with last years, I'm certainly worried now. I dare say there will be more negativity until Pearce is back. I just can't see the team that trotted out on Monday doing the business this weekend.

I definitely think it is time to be giving some of our talented youngsters a go. But I wouldn't go as far as putting in 4 or more into the line-up. This year was marked down as a rebuilding year with the view to seeing us really give the comp a shake in 2011. If some of the players at the moment are down on form, drop it and replace them with youngsters who are showing good form. This will ensure we can gauge where these guys are in terms of development and also in terms of retention as I'm sure there are some coming off contract at the end of the year. We wouldn't have known Tom Symonds could be a revelation in first grade if Freddy didn't give him a go last season. Now he is a key player in our future IMO.

Yes we need to bring new players through, that is a given but if you drop a heap of established players and get young bloods in, once again, how many games are we willing to lose to allow them to gel?

I don't hang out with B. Smith but I would reckon he would know a lot of the younger players and may even talk to a few of them. I would also think that he might know when they might be ready. He is a cool character and he is not panicking YET.

Soward was mentioned and he would not be the player he is today without Bennett. Plain and simple. Bennett uses him very well and allows him to play to his strengths. How well was Soward billed when he played for us? How good did he go when he came into 1st grade? Not too bad but nothing like he is now.

Many players are billed as the next big thing but few rarely realise the fans expectations.

It is easy to get a young bloke and then if he goes no good then "put him back where he belongs".

I don't accept mediocrity, I hate the fact that the team dropped the ball like there were spiders on it but I am happy to at least have the chance of seeing my team win each week. That has got to be something.....
