Coming into the season i thought our forwards might be our weakest link.

Well, i'd say our centre/wing pairings have taken that mantle.

Ryles, Myles, JWH and Conn can do enough to have us in the game. The halves can do a decent enough jobs of distributing.... and the buck stops there.

The thing that annoys me with Perrett is that he isn't a youngster anymore. He made is debut in 2004 he has played 100 1st grade games but he is still making the same fundamental errors he did back then. Rushing in off his wing, missed tackles and poor hands he made Bani look like Inglis.

I don't think it's a case of him playing any better for NZ. IMO he is just an ordinary player.

Cos the club hasnt had a coach who can DEVELOP 1st grade talent.

Sure we can spot talent, get talent to 1st grade, then its go play footy and become a star.

Finally we have a coach who has made a carrer out of developing 1st graders.

He wont make a difference till mid next season IMO. The shit has to be coached out of our players. Too many have been bought thru the worst structure in the game.

I remember seeing a young talented footballer by the name of Sam Perrett debuting at the SFS many years ago against the Knights. My brother and I were so impressed with what we saw that day. He went off with a broken? ankle...
