Forget 5/8th, forget being a ball player, forget your short kicking game, forget trying to organise the team and play like a lock. we have Carney and pearce to do all that. Would love to see you run the ball more. When you run the ball you are a dangerous player. Hit holes and throw in the occasional ball play. thats where you belong in this team

I'M SO ****ING FED UP WITH THIS CRAP!!!
Nate Myles has been our best forward so far this year & half you guys want to shift him for a player that doesn't want to play there. Carney is going well at fulback, yes he still has a way to go, but he's getting better by the week.
With the way Mini is going this year do we really want him back at FB?
I'm hoping to see Ben Jones used as our bench hooker & Koups bck to Newtoen when we get JWH & Symonds back. Other then that the team looks quite good in the backs, while the forwards need to improve we will see that improvement when we get some guys back from injury.
Leave Nate Myles where he is, he's going too good there to be shifted & given a bit more time could it turn out to be the best move he's ever made.

Anasta is a MUST.
His defense is great, only player not to miss a tackle in the Bulldogs game.
He doesn't stiffle any attack, his kicks may not been the greatest.
I think he needs to be a more ball running 5/8 than a ball playing 5/8, but he contributes a huge amount to the game.
Makes me laugh people refused to bag Fittler when his pass was crap or a kick was rubbish (and he had his fair share) and the hush was astounding when he went missing. But Anasta is not setting up 5 tries a game, he has to be cutThe Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

He put graham on the outside of their defence with a great pass on friday.
As for the slowest 5/8th in the comp - tell me, why does he need all this speed ?
Example
Kimmorley/Roberts
Hornby/Soward
Moltzen/Benji
Finch/Cronk
If we had no better option i wouldnt say a thing, but when we have a speedster at fullback who is a genuine 5/8th,it makes me cringe..
Sorry im just sick of the lack of options/speed offered by Anasta,i feel like its hurting our attack!
Hopefully one day he eventually helps us win a competition, ill be the first to put my hand up and admit i was wrong..

I prefer Braith at five-eighth and Carney at fullback for a very specific reason.
Braith provides the stability and control. Carney has a very specific role to inject himself sporadically, act on his instinct purely and pull rabbits out of the hat. Pearce uses an assortment of attacking kicks, takes the line on with his speed and agility, and supports the offloaders.
Anasta may not have yet hit his outstanding 2008 form yet (the only five-eighth anywhere close to touching him that season was Campese), but it is only a matter of time before he begins to flourish under a more successful team and professional coach.

Pearce is as quick if not quicker than Roberts.
I think our halves are better than all those listed, maybe not individually, but in tandem - 100%. For the record i am talking about both sides of the ball as there are quite a few speedhumps in the list you provided.
In attack Carney plays like a 5/8th, he gets right of way. Anasta takes a backseat, you could see that on friday where Anasta dropped off and became an option runner.
Last thing, Anasta has size, and he uses it effectively which makes him more dangerous close to the opp line than any speedy half. Working with Guerra or another big backrower, running those fringe lines effectively, they will be hard to stop.
The only bad thing i can say about him is he needs to straighten his attack a bit more so that he draws defenders more effectively.
