Graham and Conn were both named as they are good chances of playing off the back of a long turnaround, neither is a certainty though.

Penrith were ridiculously lucky to beat the Knights. Luke Lewis got the most favourable couple of bounces I've seen on a footy field, ever, to get his try, Paulo got a very controversial try to tie it all up, and apparently (I haven't seen this one) Purtell's matchwinner was shrowded with controversy over a supposed forward pass in the lead-up.
They are potentially lethal, but they've got a long way to go. We should, if Smith has us ready, lift to win this one. This is a week where we show that we have really got over that crap we served up against the Dogs.
Forwards to step up and Carney to shine again, but Penrith to keep it close. Roosters by 1-12.
With Trent Waterhouse,Wade Graham,Travis Burns and Dane Laurie to possibly to return this week, and the game being played in Penrith,i feel a little worried..
Also Pritchard had his first game back last week,a tough ask for our boys!
Pritchard is looking fat. Still made a few runs but didn't play his usual role. Spot him when he is on and he'll be useless.
Wade Graham coming back would be really bad as it will push Lewis to lock where imo he kills it.
As i said earlier, Panthers were really bad around the ruck with errors and penalties. If we capitalise on the stuff they give us, we should come out winners.
Did anyone else LOL at Kevin Kingston throwing 3 forward passes in 7 minutes to Pritchard ?

Don't worry about those two [bolded] nuffies
Pritchard is a definite worry though.. on his day, a devastating player
I wonder who wrote that preview, we sound like deadset specials.......now I'm even more concerned
Sounds like it was someone who didn't catch the Roosters Broncos game. Reinvigorated my arse, we were just a little better than a very, very ordinairy team.
Still though, he brings up valid points about the Panthers. They have a lot of problems playing the full 80. When they get a roll on, they're dangerous, but they can be awful at times.
The main contributor has been Todd Carney, whose move to fullback has been a revelation. He’s recorded 26 tackle-breaks (2nd in the NRL), eight offloads (5th most) and four line-breaks (equal 5th). The Roosters could have a field day out on the edges where defensive ‘turnstiles’ Adrian Purtell (19 missed tackles), Michael Jennings (16) and Luke Lewis (18) lie. They all rank in the top 12 for most misses. ....
If Graham is fit and healthy he could be very dangerous down that left side.
