Its still not a valid excuse to have 60 put on us. That is just not good enough.Due to injury I think the team line up was shit and that Smith should have made replacements earlier when it was clear even on the tv our forwards were out on the there feet after 10 minutes.

Honestly wake up. Use any other excuse but 30Degree heat for professionals most of which are getting paid between 100K-400K is not an excuse.

You are doing them a great disservice using the temperature as an excuse. You would think if anything we would be used to these playing conditions by now and the Dogs wouldnt
i will be the first to admit it was farken boiling out there, and yes we have had 2 games before when it was also farking boiling.. but...

we had 7 farken days to get over it completley. although i can imagine how draining it would be, 7 days should be enough time to get over the effects of the heat and recupirate, especially when you have trainers, physios, high performance unit and all those other facilities.

and, they have trained it heat hotter then this all offseason, which although is not the same as a game and not the same intencity, they still would have had to train for longer then 80 minutes a day, and sometimes back up the next or a couple of days latter.

imo this should be close to adequate preperation for the effects that the heat would have on them in the game. as i said, no training or amount of training can match gameday intencity, but im sure they had enough exposure to the heat to grasp what the effects would be.

so yes the heat did effect us today, but not enough to let in 60 points in. i believe it was just poor preperation

think about it. All you offered is that we missed tackles and dropped ball.....................thankyou captain obvious.

if you are so versed in Rugby league, why don;t you provide a detailed review of the game.
Reasons why we were beaten, reasons why we played so poorly, missing tackles and dropping balls is not good enough princess.

Some times the simplest answer..............is the answer.
What do you mean by detailed? I cant make it much clearer, they couldnt hold the pill or tackle a sick grandmother! What more do you want?
Sometimes you have bad days (or everyday for you,so your missus tells me) and they can be just put down to that...a bad day!
**** you and your princess shit fat boy!! Im willing to bet you wouldnt call me that if i came to the chookpen for a visit next game day.And if you did, you would be sitting on your fat arse quick smart

you would think, but heat works in funny ways.

Lets throw this hypothetical up in the air.

After the tigers match, the trainers went light on the players after the effects of the heat last sunday (players reported to have lost over a kilo of fluid during that match alone).

Would it be plausable that this heat and the effects of the heat played in the first 2 rounds, which also saw jason Ryles pull out of todays match, affected the players at the start of todays game and caused a lack of stamina which allowed the Dogs to win by so much at the end of 80 minutes?

          Think about it.

very possible mate, infact your probably right.. however, the start of the much saw just defending non farken stop, possession would have been 70- 30 or something like that for the first 20 mintues. this is what drained us, and yes the effects of heat may have played its part, but the fact we did so much defending was our own fault, through the drop balls, missed tackles etc etc...

and thats the point i am trying to get across.

We defended, it sapped the all the energy we had left, we played 3 sunday arvo games in a row in 30+ degree heat, it was going to affect us more than the dogs.

Our energy levels dropped, so did the concerntration, this lead to the dropped balls and missed tackles and the massive win by the dogs.

Quote from Brian Smith in the press confrence

"We also looked like a team who'd played three hot Sunday afternoon games who were looking for an umbrella tree, a patio and some nice pina coladas."

we r going to have to agree to disagree mate, while i belive the heat did have an effect, imo it did not warrant it to have it to the extent that others are making it out to be.

Smith using the heat as an excuse was a bit of a smoke screen, mark my words changes WILL be made for the game against the broncos.

I am sure changes will be made, firstly we have Ryles and Graham come back, on top of that JWH is close to a return and may even play against the broncos.

FFS Tigers played last week and pulled out a win no probs in less turn around. We clocked off with 20 to go in that game and havent had the courtesy to clock back on or at least tell the supporters when it may happen again.
I think players and coaches get paid too much to even give a ****.....what do you have in common with todays players!? **** ALL I BET !!!! They used to be one of us now they are the elite of society!
