    1. By a mile is SKD. How many ****ing years can this reserve grader get away with defensive suicide just because he can find the tryline on the back of others hard work.
Everyone keeps harping on about his potential. There is none. The only potential he has is to eventually give me some pre-mature baldness.
He is a hack. No heart. No physicality. I don't care how garbage Williamson is, put the guy into first grade, i can guarantee he can't defend any worse than this clown. At least he has shown that he can put his body on the line.

    2. Ben Jones. The guys is not a starting player, he is an impact back-up hooker at best. He is too small, and just like i thought in the pre-season, the big boys will have a field day with him.

    3. Martin Kennedy, just like i thought. Big pea-heart. Blah blah, he is so big. So is Carl Webb. Both are useless.

    4. We need a genuine hooker. Jaubs, Kouparitsas, while solid defensively, just don't have the tools to compliment the attack. The latter more than the former is guilty of this, but lets face it, the bloke is a backrower.

Also, a quick side note to those who keep dismissing Ryles as one of our key players. We need the bloke as bad as Myles. Lopini and FPN are not workers. Straight out.

The whole defensive live was masquerading as defence - how many times did the line out wide run AWAY from the oncoming attack. WTF?

Ben Jones is not even worthy of an impact spot till he begins to tackle.

What photos of Smith in a compromising position does Kouparitsas have?

Did Carney attack the ball even once?

Lopini and FP are not starting props in this heat.

      Big Mike

      (Last week)
Kouparitsas - Again, very solid play in what was a very important part of the game when we were in an armwrestle to get momentum. 95% of people on here including myself should be eating some humble pie, not only because they berated his ability but his ability to play number 9.

      (Today)
      4. We need a genuine hooker. Jaubs, Kouparitsas, while solid defensively, just don't have the tools to compliment the attack. The latter more than the former is guilty of this, but lets face it, the bloke is a backrower.

Which one is it?? Its a complete knee jerk reaction. Yes, i know they played disgracefully today, but the amount of people on this forum that have completely changed there tune is depressing. Everyone couldn't give enough praise last week. I''l tell you something. The roosters players have the same skills as they showed against the rabbitohs and tigers, but were just complety and utterly outplayed by a more hungry team. It happens.

I said he was solid, look back at all of my posts instead of picking and choosing and you will see that i have always maintained that he is a backrower and not a hooker.

Does he have the ability to play hooker - yes. Is he a genuine hooker ? No.

          Kennedy was shithouse.

Ben Jones has had enough chances.

          We need a proper hooker.

Taking Graham and Ryles out and it shows we lack depth seriously.

I have never seen a side play a match with worse luck.

we need to learn how to defend full stop.
Its not about tackling, its about line speed and stopping the attack getting over the advantage line.

Then there was tackling , 21 missed tackles in 20 mins.
That was a team effort, a pretty piss poor team effort.

Agreed!...I knew we were in trouble after 10 minutes.
That bullshit forward pass ruling at the start, a questionable obstruction penalty after that and Josh Morris getting awarded a try when he CLEARLY dropped the ****ing thing!
I'll let his last offside try go, as we were well and truely beaten by then.

I think that there was only one guy who could walk off the field knowing he gave his all and that was Pearce. He never stopped trying and looked threatening when he took the line on.

                  \

Add Conn to that short list and you've got it 100% correct.

Also, how unlucky was Pearce to miss out on that 40/20 ?

... not that it would of made any difference but that 1st try by Josh Morris was a disgrace. How would people look at it if it was a decider in the grand final. He dropped it, and what made it even worse was that he knew he dropped it.

Have you ever seen a 40/20 kick bounce that way before?

The unluckiest football side in the world today.

Twice early we cut them open and got called back or penalised. Morris dropped the ball so clearly. From Anasta's first kick I knew we were in trouble.

Yeah i know hey. That bounce that pearce got from his kick typified the whole performance. Unlucky in patches (e.g a couple of questionable tries from the dogs).

I'm not saying we would have won, far from it we were disgraceful, but the supposed "forward pass" that came off a roosters player before Pearce threw a beautiful out ball to the centre was a poor decision from the ref.

Conn did try his guts out i must admit aswell.

Friend to come back into da side

btw, Ben Jones was the only bloke to do anything noteworthy from the chooks. That try he scored was sensational.

I don't know what games you watched of JWH, but the bloke is an impact forward, again, not a worker.
