Please embrace the fact that he will be playing for our club next year. Just like SBW, like Carney, like Mason, like Freddy etc.

If I don't like someone at work, for whatever reason, I don't go and tell everyone in the office I don't like them.

Yet for years on this forum I have had to read you lot calling the likes of SKD and Mini dreadful names and putting them down relentlessly. No matter what they have done, how many international awards they have collected, premierships won etc, never disgraced the club, always make themselves available to us fans, 2 of our longest serving players are treated badly on here by some. Those of us who have doubts and a dislike of BF have very valid and factual reasons for doing so. DO not tell me to embrace the fact a man who assaulted another woman is coming to our club. You just crossed a line with that comment. I truly hope none of you or any woman close to you know what it's like to be assaulted or groped or leered at against their will.

I have no issue with people like RWB's stance, nothing but respect for someone who has strong morals & is willing to stick by them regardless of whether they fall into the consensus or not. Although I don't think anyone has an issue with that.

It's the over the top sensationalised, fallacious comments that draw my ire. Such comments include "he's a a registered sex offender".

RWB, I acknowledge that you are a woman of high morals and standards however there is a fine line where your stance of promoting these aforementioned morals and standards turns to being opinionated and pushing an agenda.

If, and I mean IF Blake goes through counselling and apologises for his wrongs and openly attempts to be a better person, will you forgive him? Or will you continue to hold a grudge against a person you've had minimal if not zero personal contact with, over an issue that has been severely misrepresented by the media and your own predjudices, whilst millions of men who have committed much worse continue to walk free, devoid of your judgement?

I think it's very sad that people are letting their love for the Roosters blind them to an incident that was far far worse than Nate Myles' poo-gate in Terrigal, Pearce's half-hearted grab at King's Cross or the Jake Friend drug bust.

There is no comparison to any other incident at the Roosters in recent memory. The last Roosters who assaulted a woman - Anthony Watts - was rightfully thrown to the kerb.

The Ferguson incident is on the same level as physical violence.

Flake has been judged by the courts
He has also been judged by the NRL
& of course he's currently being judged by righteous vigilante types who don't accept the decisions of law
who don't accept that any person can return to the community after serving their sentence including additional requirements for acceptable assimilation.
I found his behavior unacceptable in my opinion

& in my opinion I have judged his efforts of contrition towards authority in all forms to be highly acceptable

He has served penance & knows he will be watched by the inquisitors from now on

I liked Fatty when he was at the Roosters.

I remember this time when I think Fatty had been dropped & played 2nd grade then played off the bench for FG when the Roosters were playing out of Henson & he must of been 1 of the last to shower so by the time he got there the showers were cold & it was in the middle of winter on a horrible day & old Fatty was just spewing about the conditions of Henson & how effing cold it was, it was classic.

Well you best find a YouTube clip to explain what you perceive as feelings because we aren't going anywhere.

I'd say you can leave if you don't like it, but we all know multiple bannings and other such things haven't been able to chase you away so I can't see this being the straw that does it.

Ferguson is a dickhead. Being on the roosters payroll doesn't change that anymore than it changed it for Cherrington.
