The major issue with napa is his stupid moments, such as two shoulder charges in the round 26 match against Souths. His suspension impacted us greatly against Penrith as we lacked that one extra forward through the middle. I also hope he can maintain his improved go forward going into next season.

I will throw it out there that this will be Napa's season. Aussie squad will do him a world of good, playing for contract and again someone so young in his position he will only get better and better.

And as for the subject of the actual thread, I think the combination of too much footy with the world cup, very little pre-season and not having the same level of motivation as 2013, led to the team's results in 2014. They gave so much in 2013, it really is very hard to keep that up for another year when the goal (premiership) was achieved in 2013. it was the defence which let the team down more than anything and as they say attitude can be seen in a team's dedication to defence. The rule changes also didn't help.

As far as being a negative influence on the younger players, FPN departure is a good thing.

Next season our completion rate needs to drastically improve as we were third last in the 2014 season - pathetic considering we were 2013 premiers - it was more of a individual performance than a team performance in 2014.

The 'girls alliance' would have more ring ins than the Vermin supporter base in 2014 I can guarantee that Turk would recreate himself as either Raspberry Vodka Cruiser or even worse, West Coast Cooler

Now back to the thread subject - I'm hoping JWH has realised that money is not the be all and end all and being part of a club that supports you and is an extended member of your family can be worth more than anything money can buy. And it's not as if we won't offer the bloke a decent salary. He has made a home at the Roosters and hopefully he has enjoyed it enough to stay. He would be a big loss, not just onfield but off-field as well. Every club needs a player with his unbridled passion and personality. He is also one of the most approachable players we've ever had at the club when it comes to interaction with the supporter base.

As for SKD - I would not be overly concerned if he left, whether it be in 2015 or 2016. I acknowledge he had probably one of his better seasons in 2014 but to my mind, he will always be rocks and diamonds and lack consistency and can be replaced without problem. Of course, I will be eating my words if we let SKD go and then Ferguson has a slip up off the field and is de-registered again.

I think some people confuse the fact that some of us have known each other for more than a decade and enjoy each others company in here as some kind of clique.

Well I've just started watching the entire 7 seasons of Melrose Place as I've never really seen it but it sounds like the real soap opera is happening right here! I might as well take the fancy portable DVD player I just bought back to DJ's and pull up my keyboard and watch the dramas here. I won't be fashionable though because I actually like the Teriyaki Chicken Boy and the Fur coated one..plus I never had a problem with most of the other young fellows who got banned. All the problems stemmed from the Friend of South Sydney it seems..and whoever made light of someone almost taking their own life due to personal problems can seriously hang their head in shame..really wicked comment to make even if you think it was off the cuff..Like I said in the thread which was deleted and rightly so..there is trash all over the internet. I don't expect to read it on a forum for the fans of the only sporting team I follow..nor do I expect it to be directed at close friends on here who are like family to me. If you look at the list of members names, it says 'community'! If you choose to become a member of a community, there is the reasonable expectation that we behave like decent citizens. Some on here claim to be long term Roosters fans, yet you bring shame to Easts when you post garbage on here. That is what the general public see as this forum is in full view of everyone..
