Only my opinion obv...but I think his quickstepping yet lack of real pace would best suit five eighth...his passing game would cut it but not sure about the slipper requirements as you say.

Hastings has a history of fullback doesn't he? If RTS at 1 doesn't work maybe that's an option? I say that going on understanding Hasto has history at 1.

In speaking about RTS needing to prove himself at fullback, can anyone shed light on how long it took Mini to really make the spot his own after moving from the wing? I'm too young to remember his transition and i don't think it's fair to judge off highlights.

2003 in the world club challenge against St.Helens was his first crack at full back if I remember correctly. He adjusted so quickly it was if he had been playing there all his life. The rest is history.

Personally I think RTS will play full back very well, and he has had the added bonus of not only Minis guidance, but also has had a few games (albeit part time) there already.

Correct Mr Bond, he made a quick and seamless transition. Mind you fullbacks 10-15 years ago didn't have to play like a second 5/8th in attack, like they do nowadays so the transition from a winger to fullback would be harder these days.

If I remember correctly he was the Blues fullback in SOO either in his first or second season at Fullback and Kangaroo within 2 years as well.
