Maybe the dates are wrong. Forced to leave roosters at end of 2004 if he wanted to be a refs consultant in 2005.

Apparently all ok now for first grade refs to work closely with Souths and teach them how to avoid penalties.

On Matty Johns tv they showed Souths training with first grade refs. I recall Harrigan was sacked for doing the same thing with the roosters many years ago.

Why do we receive 80 penalties less than South Sydney during the season? That is the real issue.

Because we try and slow down the ruck without resorting to chicken wings, leg twists and applying pressure to the opposing players neck. It's no coincidence the two biggest wrestlers in the comp are Melb and those grubby farking ****s at Souffs as one coach learnt that grubby shit from the other.

We don't need to adopt anything from anyone, especially shit like that.

I like the way we play and we're winning without it.

Because we couldn't hold the ball & they had nearly 55% possession. Again, your arguement is ridiculous as we have beaten them twice this year.

As for penalties, they ended up 5 all. In fact Melbourne didn't receive a penalty in the 2nd half.

A fair wack of the penalties we cop are deserving we are poor at wrestling and cant slow the game down if we need too without being penalised, the strom put us on our backs 80% of the time stopping our momentum and metres. The storm players hit the line upon first contact they fall forward and hit the ground on their arms not allowing u to twist them and put them on their back which means u cant lay on them as they push up to play the ball quickly. We need to take a leaf from their book

Souths are another one of the teacher's pet teams.
It'll likely be a penalty-a-thon in their favour next week, from the start, same as Storm game.

We must stop giving away dumb penalties for 'hands on the ball' when opposition players are trying to play it.
Also, stop simply dropping the ball when playing it....and stop throwing wild passes where our players seem to have no idea what's happening and the ball goes to ground.

If we make as many mistakes against Souths as we did against the Storm we most likely will not win the game.

robbo is all about making decisions deciding not to throw that wayward pass, deciding to go to ground rather than into touvh etc.. hes got them finally thinking ?

Robbo seems to be a great planner.
