In that same game, would you say that Pearce was better than any of Maloney, Foran, or DCE?

Pearce a slow thinker who looks like a champion against weak teams which give him time to think. I don't ever expect Pearce to win a Churchill medal but I will be over the moon if he does :-)

Between all of the players mentioned you could argue that Mitchell "Junior Junior" Pearce came up with the biggest play which was his try assist to Aiden "Che" Guerra that allowed the Sydney Roosters to get back in to the game at a crucial moment.

Junior Junior will never be a great half BUT he always gives 100%. He is at his best when he does not overplay his hand and stays within the structure. The best thing in recent weeks is that Pearce has played straight

... Pearce is coming along finally. We need to remember he hasn't been coached well. He debuted when 19. Hardly old enough to be a quality first grade player. He has played while we have struggled getting a good coach. Now Robbo and Taylor have him running. He is only young, we'll start seeing rewards come from Pearce's plays.

What is really pleasing is Maloney dominated last week and Pearce dominated this week. With sbw and friendy injured that was crucial

I didn't realise everyone was booing DCE due to the injustice of Pearce missing out on the Clive Churchill medal. How silly of me.

You don't think that had more to do with McCarthy and Fulton being the deciders of that award? We were booing because it should have been a Rooster and those two old farking retarded cretins should be euthanized.

Pearce had his best game of the season for us tonight. Having said that, he wasn't that great.

He's still too slow to be a first grade NRL halfback. Sure, he ran the ball about three times, but didn't make much of a dent.

The good thing about his performance was that he looked relatively switched on and his passing game was sharper than it has been all year.

The forwards and outside backs did their jobs sublimely well, especially in the second half clearly. Sam Moa had a blinder in my humble opinion.

Cordner and Guerra were the mainstays, as usual. Mini, RTS, Toups, Jennings and even poor old SKD had good games. And Maloney is finally hitting some form.

"Poor old SKD" has been close to our best this season.

Mitchell was outstanding last night.

Perfect wet weather football from the half enabled on the back of a physically dominating pack.

The hands then double right foot steps to score was pretty to watch too.
