Definitely outplayed Foran, & was better than DCE in the clutch moments..

Pearce is not the perfect half, but he plays to our system very well..

You seem to not like his play, but he is a GF winning half for our club, so some of you guys need to cut the kid a bit more slack..

omfg would some of you grow the fark up and stop trashing your own damn players?? i hear enough of it from supporters of other teams.. Mitchell played well tonight and people still cant just say "good game" then move on without putting the damn boot in.

Pearce had his best game of the season for us tonight. Having said that, he wasn't that great.

He's still too slow to be a first grade NRL halfback. Sure, he ran the ball about three times, but didn't make much of a dent.

The good thing about his performance was that he looked relatively switched on and his passing game was sharper than it has been all year.

The forwards and outside backs did their jobs sublimely well, especially in the second half clearly. Sam Moa had a blinder in my humble opinion.

Cordner and Guerra were the mainstays, as usual. Mini, RTS, Toups, Jennings and even poor old SKD had good games. And Maloney is finally hitting some form.

Mate when is the club sacking Pearce and when is your next worldwide breaking, once in a lifetime exclusive coming?

Where was DCE when they had the big lead in the 2nd half??..

Pearce was busy setting up the try that got us back in the game..

How silly of me to think Pearce was contributing in the clutch moment, while DCE was running round in circles, panicking..

I notice you haven't defended your Foran being better than Pearce invthe GF, either..hmmnn..

The game was there for DCE to win..he bubbled it..

Pearce was given a chance to get us back in the game, a massive clutch moment, & nailed it..

In that same game, would you say that Pearce was better than any of Maloney, Foran, or DCE?

Pearce a slow thinker who looks like a champion against weak teams which give him time to think. I don't ever expect Pearce to win a Churchill medal but I will be over the moon if he does :-)

Mate while ever Bob McCarthy and Bob Fulton are judging that award there won't be any Easts players winning it, let alone Pearce.
