Lets hope the team has learnt from last time!
If they have, we might see a shutout?

I hope they learnt from the panthers game that they don't have to force offlaods and push passes to score points.

wandering through Southside shopping centre at Sylvania I came across a roosters poster backing a lolly machine very interesting to see the player's highlighted in the poster, fitzy was there as was willy and anasta with Nate Myles in background to fitzy , so looking at that reminds me how much we have progressed as a club and a team! although id always be happy for fitzy to put the boots on!

Brothers Sione and Chanel Mata'utia will make their NRL debuts together for Newcastle as late replacements for Darius Boyd and Akuila Uate against the Roosters at Hunter Stadium on Friday night.
Sione, 18, will play fullback for Boyd and Chanel, 21, will take Uate's spot on the right wing. James McManus will miss his second straight game due to a toe injury he picked up in Origin III, Jake Mamo will again replace him on the left wing.
Robbie Rochow did not train on Thursday and has a slight groin issue but coach Wayne Bennett said the back-rower would play. Roosters centre Michael Jennings is close to making his return from a back injury but is expected to be at least one week away.

Mamo is their best winger anyway.

I just hope we've learnt our lesson from the Sharks game and don't take this one easy.

                        Yep.

And completed a full contact session.

Still don't know if they will risk him.

                        Have to wait and see.

Very nice, Hawkeye. I hope he has a stinker though.

Half a game for jenko with Nene coming off the bench is a wise move considering the coming weeks..

                              I wouldn't risk Jenko.

We shouldn't need him, and the extra week would work out better in the long run.

IF he is 100% then he should play. Why hold him back? He's had enough rest.
