Given the state of the competition ladder atm, for and against is going to be very important.

While I do feel that Newcastle have had it rough the Roosters need real focus and get as many points as possible.

Souths are plus 132 and we are plus 124 with Manly at Plus 120. A fifty score line could assume an unassailable lead and put to the top of the bracket we end up in. I could be the difference between 1 and 3 or 4 and 5.
It should be a serious priority this Friday.

A win by 10 points while still a win wont display any real authority.

The Knights will be up for this week after the emotion got to them last week.

They have a few keys out but the Sharks had more. I just hope the boys are in the right head space and complete their sets. If it is wet tonight the score may be close. I will be happy with a win by any margin and no injuries.

This. Just keep rolling forward through the guts, the result and for and against will take care of itself if they do this. Friend, Maloney and Pearce need to take charge and keep them on track with this. I liked SBW game last week , thinking he will start to shine now we are getting to the serious end of the comp

I fully agree with you Buddy!! If we go in with the mindset of an easy game expecting to win by 40+ like we did against the sharks, we could be in for an upset again!

If we go into the game switched on like we did last week, the scoreboard will take care of itself.

I expect the knights to play much better than what they did against the tits. They will feel embarrassed and that they had let down Alex on his big day, so they will be wanting to make amends for it! Big Willie will be sure to fire up their players against his former club, along with bennett who hates our club! BJ against his former club will certainly be out for a big one and will be looking to have one of his rare diamond games.

Uate is no loss for the knights, he was farking $hithouse last week and I was hoping that he would be playing, along with gidley who is also $hit!! Mamo who is one of the replacements is a big danger with his lightning quick speed!

I won't be surprised if the knights left the sprinklers on overnight to ensure that we can't throw the ball around as easy and keep the scoreline down. Newcastle have had a history of doing such crap, along with hosing down the away teams dressing room.

Looking back at the Sharks loss.... It seems more good than bad will come out of it in the long run.

Having a 'game that needed to be lost' is a bit of an over used cliche, but i think it trult applies in our instance.
