Not sure whether it was Nathan Stapleton or Nathan Gardner who scored a try against the Roosters beating something like 7 blokes about 2 years ago, hope it was the one the Roosters have signed.

I personally think that Stapleton may have a case to answer with ASADA yet.

That was Nathan Gardner who scored that try

      PS Gardner is Carneys flatmate
I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

Obviously just a depth signing. Would not have cost much and if I remember correctly, I think he is a goal kicker, which we certainly lack depth in

Why do people say Moga is better than Stapleton? Hes played 61 FG games - hes going to offer a lot more than Moga as a depth option.

Boyd was Carney's flatmate until recently.

Stapleton is only here for the rest of the 2014 season before heading off to French Rugby

Stapleton hasn't been able to break into the Sharks team this year. That sort of tells you everything you need to know.

If Moga can stay fit, he's really going to bite us on the arse one day.

Absolutely zero idea why they'd waste money on a player who can't even crack it for first grade at the Sharks.
                        Scott Dureau = DUD
                        Heath Le Strange = DUD

Mate, a lot of people thought the same thing about Mortimer when we first signed him (me included), yet he definitely proved to be of some value. Maybe one or both of these signings may prove valuable this year...
We can only wait and see.

How much do you reckon they payed for those 3 players ? In total about 350-400K a season ? Would rather that money go to a player who is considered a regular first grader.

These guys have had their time, and never set the NRL alight.

A bloke named Sam Moa from Tonga had his time and never set the NRL alight.

Went to the UK where he played well. Some would say he found his level.

He was given a chance at another go in our game.

                                The rest is history.

Also whose to say we could afford another established first grader??? Obviously letting go a backup halve and outside back we replaced both players with like. It's called a business decision. Both signings are obviously for depth.

                                Farking simple concept for some.

                                You know it makes sense.
