Well by all accounts Fergo has been knocked back so we've hedged our bets with Stapleton? Ferg would be no good to go this season anyway, hes still unable to run for another month.

After seeing mini being rag dolled on Friday night we can only pray and hope Fergo is registered today we really do need another big outside back.

Mini only got rag dolled because he stopped, if he just continued running or went to ground he would've stayed in the field of play.

As for Fergo's injury, is it bad enough that his play will be hindered because of it once he recovers?

The NRL said on Monday it has rejected an application by the Sydney Roosters to register Blake Ferguson to play in the NRL competition this year.

Chief Operating Officer, Jim Doyle said the decision was based on an assessment of Ferguson’s record of conduct over the last two years.

In addition, he said Ferguson had given an undertaking that he would undergo a program of clinical support and counselling before the NRL would consider registering him and this is not yet complete.

Mr Doyle said the NRL would consider any future application for Ferguson to return to the NRL.

However, he warned that a relevant factor in the decision would be whether he has engaged in and completed an appropriate clinical support and counselling program.

What a great and spot on analogy! I have no doubt in the world, that if the bull$cumdog$hit or $ouff$ wanted to register a contract today with Fergo, todd f***head greenturd would have allowed it to happen!!

F*** I can't stand the bull$hit double standards by the NRL!!

                      #####

Simple really...engage in and complete an appropriate clinical support and counselling program.

Club wants to register him...Club should make sure he does what the NRL requires.
If that's called 'holding his hand' then so be it.

No appropriate clinical support and counselling program...no contract.

No Harvard degree needed to understand this one either.

This isn't Roosters hate BB. I think the NRL and the public in general are mighty tired of reading about dysfunctional players who just can't keep it together for what ever reason. The same old tired surnames keep popping up all the time in headlines and it makes everyone look like fools for persisting. Most decent people want to read about the likes of Alex McKinnon, not some overpaid infantile idiot who can't appreciate the chances he has been given. I'm tired of reading redemption stories and then less than a year later, they are up to their old tricks again. Stay out of trouble for at least 5 years, NEVER repeat your mistakes and THEN you can write your redemption story - Jake Friend - Exhibit A.

Why wouldn't the Roosters try and register Ferguson first, and if successful, then release Moga. Dpesn't make sense to let him go at this stage of the year.
