we will have major salary cap issues at the end of next year, just look who is coming off contract

Tupou, SKD, Maloney, JWH, Friend, Guerra, FPN, Mortimer, Casty, Napa

    - I think JWH will go back to RU to try and be an All Black
    - Friend is an absolute must to extend he may very well be captain in 2015 with Guerra a close 2nd in retention order
    - FPN/Mortimer/Casty should be first in line to be moved on
    - with Maloney a lot will depend on whether Hastings or RTS have developed to handle number 6 by then
    - SKD won't get the same contract size as his previous one and could be forced out by MacDonald/Milne or even Latrell Mitchell
    - Tupou obviously would love to keep him but $$$ will be determining factor
    - Napa needs to continue to develop and work on yardage game but can't see the club letting him go given all the time they have put in already.

most premiership winning teams eventually get ripped apart due to the salary cap, it might very well be our turn come 2015.

big difference between potential and consistent performance in first grade, we need to be careful not to get to young to quickly, we are losing a lot more experience this year with Mini/SBW moving on.

you have to look at consistancy, I would show him the door he has 160 can he cant string together a season of quality. he is another sam perrett

Nene "Ronald" MacDonald is a versatile player who is capable of playing at fullback, centre or wing and I believe it is important to have a few players who are able to play different positions when required.

I thought young MacDonald looked bigger than when I have seen him play for the third grade team and he handled the toughness of first grade football against a rough team very well he is no doubt first grade material. Perhaps the club will not be too worried in retaining TauTau Moga in favour of Nene MacDonald.

Tough choices will have to made in the next few years in terms of retention as some players from our team will be offered above average wages to be lured away. I firmly believe that our coach can learn from how Craig "Bellyache" Bellamy has approached this area and allow certain players who have served us well to leave as they could be replaced by cheaper options. We do not wish to see our club in the mess that Des Hasler has left the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.

His father might want him but they have a 19 year old who will be playing for them for a decade.
