Not saying all of them do, just most of them. Although all things being equal, if the opportunity arose to go home, on a suitable contract, or remain in Sydney, especially if they are married to Qld women, then on most occasions, returning to Qld would win out.

Ridiculous who suggested thatThe year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!
Here's looking at you, kid.

Not a fan of the signing, we don't need any experienced back rowers especially on the coin that he is supposedly asking for. Plus how many of the 'solid first graders' that Melbourne have leave and play better? Look at Kostjasyn, Dane Nielsen, Maurice Blair, Lowrie, Beau Champion. Widdop/Folau/Inglis were already great players, although Widdop was overshadowed, and even Adam Blair has failed miserably.
That said, some people are suggesting McQueen. Fark that. He has been average at absolute best since he played Origin. There's a reason he only played less than half a game in both of Souffs finals games last season and there's a reason he is on the bench whenever Souffs have a full-strength team. He's behind a 22 year old with 5 games under his belt and he is asking for a substantial pay rise because he played SOO 8 months ago. No thankyou.
Can't see why 11. Cordner 12. Aubusson 13. Guerra wouldn't work though.Last edited by Roostarz; 04-24-2014, 05:57 PM.

Proctor offers far more than Sims does.
Proctor knows how to work in a structure, knows his role and does it better than most back rowers in the game. Is quick on his feet, good offload, runs hard and can create second phase.
Sims has attitude and injuries. Luke Brooks handled him in round 6. He doesn't offer half what Proctor does.
Chook.

Chook.
Does Simms have attitude or does he just not like living in NQ?
Id take Simms just for his explosive power, something we will miss when Sonny goes. While his ball skills are not in Sonny's league he is a devastating ball carrier, some thing we won't have.

Agree with Chook on Sims.
Overrated with a pulled heartilage.
Proctor would be a better option. He's got a fair bit of skill, and I've probably done him a disservice in this thread because I don't want him at the expense of Moa or Liu.
I believe he has been one of the key cogs of Melbourne's brilliant wrap around attacking move so he has good, quick hands.
He's not a superstar but is a good player. Still, we have Cordner, Aubusson and Guerra so it remains a perculiar decision to me ESPECIALLY if it costs us our one and only Lawn Moa.

We have plenty of power runners, Moa, JWH, Cords, Guerra, Casty. Proctor is the package. He has an unpredictability about him that makes defence lines nervous and he's Robbo's type of player in that he's a good edge runner and hits holes.
Chook.

I've said it a number of times.... Tariq is the closest player in the NRL you'll find that is comparable to Sam Burgess in regards to build, style and (almost) aggression.
Last weekend, I could only marvel at that run of Burgess' off the drop-out. It was simple inspirational. I then watched the Cowboys game and Sims had an almost identical run in the 76th minute off the kick re-start. The similarities were eerie.
Tariq Sims is going to be a great player, but I doubt he'll leave the Cowboys while Thurston is playing for them.
