Clearly a depth signing. Forget the rumoured coin - it's bollocks. Nothing to see here.
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

You lost me there. He's carrying about 30 kilos overweight at the moment, looks like a supermarket bouncer.

The collective burgei are somewhat useless...except for Samuel who like inglis we could never sign due to poor quality character.

Just coz we sign Proctor doesnt mean he is on the same coin as SBW. He's probably on a lot less, and it gives us more coin to either re-sign more of our young guns or sign another player for another position using the cash.

Proctor will be a handy player to have, another Aubbo really. I have a feeling Robbo will use Liu in a more prop role, leaving Proctor, Cordner, Aubbo, Guerra to fight out the second row positions.

            The more competition the better.

OK not these guys, but surely that pom coach must have a hidden english gem up his sleeve, someone like a morley or gareth ellis

I feel like you people were after a 'name' rather than someone that actually does the job. Peter O'Sullivan is the best in the business and would not stuff around with Proctor. He is a VERY efficient player. He doesn't miss much footy or make any mistakes (1 error and 2 penalties given in 2014).

The English props tend to mature later than they do over here, probably due to the lack of good quality coaches during their development...so you're taking a bit of a gamble on someone who would probably be classed as having missed their chance - the Burgii are an exception.

There are some beauties going round at the moment, but would probably be seen as too old to move over here. Peacock at Leeds, Crabtree at Huddersfield are a couple who are good enough but getting to the end of their careers.

Ironically, the team with probably more depth in the young forwards than anyone, NZ Warriors, have just snapped up two u19's props from Leeds.

Are you saying that Kevin "Oompa Loompa" Proctor plays like Phil Lynott? Like he's been dead for 28 years.
                        SUPER DRAGON!

For mine Proctor would be ok for the right coin, I wouldn't be paying overs for him, because as a second rower, we have them in abundance, my two priorities are a gun Prop and centre, these two positions are our weaklink, expecially if Moga gets injured again, or just doesn't come up to expectations, and plus being a Queenslander, they have a lot of trouble staying away from their familes, for long periods, so the first acceptable offer that came along north of the border, he would probably be off.
Friend, Guerra, Napa don't seem too homesick....

My fave band back in the day. Went to see them in 1981, Queens Hall, Leeds.

Phil Lynott was my mates cousin. Not that it did me any good on the free ticket or backstage pass front.

                            Great frontman though.

I must be the only one who thinks Proctor is a decent player.... not a great player but someone who is reliable and gets the job done. Where are the rumours coming from that he's getting 500k? lol..... Just because he could be potentially replacing SBW does not mean he will be actually on that. Ridiculous who suggested that
