So what you are saying is that with the Titans being the only team close to 6 from 6 that Cartright is the only one who knows what he is doing. I would rather be in Robbo's shoes than Cartright's shoes. The same whingers were saying the same thing last year but in the end Robbo knew what he was doing. We are so far off our top and losing by the smallish of margins and with a bit of luck from refs calls and the bounce of the ball, we would be "close" to where you want us to be for Robbo to know what he is doing. But I do conceded now that we are in the back end of the season with only 20 rounds to go, we need to lift our game quickly.
What I say is that that saying "Robbo knows what he's doing" doesnt have any meaning because if he knew, we wouldn't be 2 from 6. It's logic, unless of course he's foxing and want to make other teams 'think' we're in trouble and has an ace he hasn't played yet, then you might have a point however, i doubt that. Mind you I also don't think he's panicking, yet, but I'm sure he's thinking hard how to turn this around. And no I don' want anyone else but the records will show, he's tactics this year hasn't work and you can't deny that, unless you're in de Nile.

I'm no AlFredo DeNile but as JFC said results don't always show evidence the coaches tactics aren't working.
Mate every game we have crossed the stripe 4-5 times to either be denied by poor execution or desperate defence.
It doesn't show a lack of tactical nous.
It shows teams are aiming up when they play us and we aren't performing to our potential as yet.
If we were getting belted every week you'd have a point but considering with 5 to go every week, even round 1, we've been a try or less away from our opponents, despite poor handling and giving away a shitload of penalties and being denied tries consistently, it's really hard to point to tactics as being the problem.

Well put backwards.
IMO the biggest problem we have at the moment is whether the hunger and desire is there.
It is early in the season and I have no doubt Robbo will get that feeling back in the squad.
From what I have seen from other teams, I don't think anyone can match us at the business end of the season barring injuries.
Not according to Sausage, a win will only mask our clearly inferior football team who couldn't beat an ageing Manly with our weak pack of forwards
Ohhh sausage we missed you this week
It’s actually the punters who believe we are still the favourites. The Bookmaker will play the percentages – hence as Gold Coast is 5 and 1 there has been some money for them but they are still 23/1. At the start of the season I think they were about 50/1.
Go back to 2002 and at the start of the season the Roosters were 7/1. After 5 rounds we were 1 and 4 and you could have got 23/1 for the Premiership. Fortune favoured the brave and the Dogs were stripped of all their points but c’est la vie – it couldn’t have happened to a nicer team and their supporters.
Bottom line is despite our form we are (in my opinion) still the best side in the competition, at present no we are not but Premierships aren’t won in April.
A couple of wins over the Sharks and Dragons and watch the odds fluctuate.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

True true True Alfredo however going by results and the precious 2 points that we all want, well we ain't got it. I ain't saying he can't turn it around, all I say that is that the game plan till now hasn't work and I'm sure that you, being an astute person, will agree. I doubt that Robbo started the season planning for 4 losses at this stage but my main point out of all of this is the saying 'Robbo knows what he's doing'.
I've been inundated with roosters fans demanding my selection this week, after successfully predicting all 6 correct roosters matches this year. The good news is, that the Roosters will win their next 3 matches
I'd be alot more confident of beating the Dragons on Anzac Day, had they defeated the Storm. If they lose this week, then I may have to reassess that game.
After round 9, the Roosters will once again firm into outright favourite at $4
