  • At least the bookies still have faith in us.

The TAB still has us at $5 favourites to win the comp with souffs 2nd at $6. Our defense ranks 3 atm which is about the only positive at this time.

Lots of positives. Despite lopsided possession no team has beaten us convincingly.

We are favourites for a reason.

There is no team at this early stage who stands out as a threat.
Parra played their best game possible with 34 from 36 sets and great defence.
We played well below our best and bombed 5 tries. We play 5% better in each of our last three games and we probably win.
There is a lot more improvement in Easts than most teams and as per last year, our attack will improve come the second half of the year.
Robbo knows what he is doing.

Also, if Napa becomes a regular, and we get another big forward from somewhere before June 30.

The Dogs have many BIG forwards, and are my pick for the premiership atm.
Hopefully we'll start moving thru the pack soon.

Backing them to fade away towards the back end of the season. No real fullback and a useless 9 will bring about there demise. They remind me of souffs last year. Rely on the power game and don't have much else after that

              Dogs have been dead lucky.

              We can murder them.

Didn't see us doing any of that when we played them recently.
They have organised field goal attempt attack, and an expert field goal kicker...we have nothing like that.

They also dominated possession and field position and only beat us by 1point. We were ordinary to say the least in attack and probably should have scored 3 tries(Jennings,Toupo and Maubs). But hey, they have a structure in place to kick field goals, there morals to win the comp

ill be bold to suggest we now probably also have a structure in place to kick a field goal?

no disrespect to you ray - i could not give a rats about the bookies having faith in us but prefer to see some of the supporters here in having some faith in our team.as the old saying goes never write off a champion.

So you're saying that Robbo knew he was going to be 2/6? I always laugh at other fans, especially the burrow scum that go on and on about 'how Madge knows what he's doing' Well if he knew, they'd be champions. As for Robbo and in particularly this year, sorry but Robbo doesn't know what he's doing otherwise we'd be 6 from 6 or near that instead of only 2 wins. He might get it next week but till now and this season, he's flopped.

So what you are saying is that with the Titans being the only team close to 6 from 6 that Cartright is the only one who knows what he is doing. I would rather be in Robbo's shoes than Cartright's shoes. The same whingers were saying the same thing last year but in the end Robbo knew what he was doing. We are so far off our top and losing by the smallish of margins and with a bit of luck from refs calls and the bounce of the ball, we would be "close" to where you want us to be for Robbo to know what he is doing. But I do conceded now that we are in the back end of the season with only 20 rounds to go, we need to lift our game quickly.

No i think he means that because no coach is 6 from 6, no coach knows what they are doing.

He thinks he should be the coach because he knows what he is doing and Rooster Oracle should be CEO so he can fire Sean Garlick.
