Just going by what the commentators were saying, driving the player is fine, impeding or touching a defensive player while doing so is not. They claimed that sbw had not given Perrett a chance to stop friend getting the ball down. Was touch and go, but with the ref awarding it a try, I thought the vidiot had to have no doubts to overturn it.

You are allowed. You see players do it to stop team mates being tackled over the sideline, in their own goal line etc.

learn the rules before you complain. Its only illegal when the player is trying to score, not in the other circumstances.
Last night all the penalties against us were justified, the penalties we didn't get were our own fault. Out stupid forwards line there on the ground and make no attempt to get up to play the ball.

I agree with most of what you usually write on this forum KB but on this I don't. Mini is mediocre at best, the pinball is gone, he has lost a few steps in pace, he has alot of difficulty with the low bouncing ball, he doesn't hit the ball up hard on ball return and is always looking at passing it off onto some one else rather than doing it himself, too much lateral movement costing us metres and he doesn't get down fast enough whilst being tackled enabling defenders to drag him back consistently.
Eventhough he wasn't the worst player on field he's a very far cry from what he was and what we need.

You can drive your own player from behind. Once the tackle spun around SBW was no longer behind, he became an obstruction.
