Now that made me laugh. I'll definitely pay that PTB.

Much as I would have loved to be there, I'm glad I didn't go since the Wanka was 'in the house'. After a few vinos I probably would have disgraced myself by throwing a bottle of red over him and telling him exactly what I thought of him - and it would not have been pretty. Entertaining, but not pretty.

And I would have hated myself for ruining Fitzy's farewell like that.

Much safer that I stay away from anything to do with the Club until the Wanka's off the premises entirely. I'm not to be trusted to keep my big mouth shut.

Yeah sorry NC, but that is the biggest load of tripe I have heard for a while, because no one knew if he would show up for certain......... and he did not turn up until at least 20 minutes into the evening.....so you can blame him for a lot of things, but you not comming to pay respects to Fitzy is not one of them......

That is part of the respect bit, that no matter what feeling a person has, they put them aside for the good of the evening.....

surely you do not think that others in the room felt the same or even worse about him than you, but they were there for one man and one man alone........And I am thankful I can say I was there for him also.......

No one knew whether the bloke was going to be there on the night. But I was never going to take that chance.

I've not had any involvement with the Club for 2 years due to not wanting to be anywhere near his presence, so why take the risk at this stage?

All I can do is hope that the end of his stay at the Roosters is near.

Thats fair enough NC, but surely the love and admiration of Fitzy far outweight any feeling you could have for Mason.......

I fail to see how one man being part of our team can make someone not want any involvement with the club, because at the end of the day the Roosters are bigger than one man......

each to their own.....but for me, the Roosters come first and the players come second......not the other way around.....

Deadset if the forans are here at Easts with Pearce, i will do a Novice, obviously this club does not want to move forward and has blinkers on, Smith and his regime is a myth.

Hopefully the 3 of them catch up again on the northern beaches, POS can bang lady foran , pearce snr and have the brat pack as his little brady bunch.
