There's big wraps on him, he played quite a few games for the 20's last year after the SG Ball comp finished and physically looked well up to the task. He's also a very good boxer from all reports, will be going to the Commonwealth games this year I believe so at some point in the next few years he's going to have to chose which sport will be his sole focus.

Good news on that front. Willis recently re-signed (2 yrs?). As promised the club is supporting him all the way with his quest for gold @ C'GAMES.

I think Robbo has been working on this over the off season, as there is a new attacking move in there which some of you may not have seen.

We were accustomed to seeing two big boppers run on to a Jake Friend short ball close to the line in 2013, but that last try in the video (JWH I think), saw these two men run as decoys, the dummy half threw the ball out to the halfback and running off the halfback were two more big boppers. I think this is an excellent idea and hope to see it throughout the season. It takes extraordinary vision from whoever is playing hooker, usually friend, to choose the right man to pass to, or go himself.

        Thanks ROTUS for the footage.
Wasn't our main attacking play friend to either Pearce or Maloney who then would choose to pick a lead front runner or cut the ball out to Jennings/tupou? Sometimes Pearce would even pass to Maloney who would then usually find Jennings or tupou.

However it's good to see that we have come up with some new plays in attack. Will be interesting to see if we combine a mix of our successful plays from last year with new ones this year, or if TRobbo has come up with completely new ones. If we have a range of plays then we will be extremely hard to stop that's for sure

I love this tactic. It is like an American Football formation where there are multiple attacking options from the same look. It will be fun to see what we do with this season. I am happy to be proven wrong, but I believe that Brian Smith brought this play in and Robbo and Co developed it further last season.

Thanks Rotus appreciated the view but like when Frank Hyde was calling from the card table -
Bloody touch judges and ball boys getting in the way. At least the camera man wasn't running up an down the sideline.
