that is a bit strange having both Robbo and J.T coaching at the 9's with Steve McNamara and Craig Fitzgibbon taking the trial game in Newcastle, I'm not a huge fan of this, perhaps they should have split Robbo and J.T up.

titts are looking good for the 9s. possibly the fastest back line in the comp. a bit doey in the centres but.

Broncos have 11/12 of their 2014 starting 17. Dragons not in our pool but look pretty strong

Yes the broncs will be the team to beat in our pool. Players like Barba, Hoffman, Gillet, Glenn and Parker will be well suited to play 9's. Without Hayne and Hoppa the eels have nothing and the bull$cumdog$hit have left most of their good players out.

seriously Maubs is part of the secret weapon, he may come off the bench but the master plan is really our bench & what impact it has on the game...

Most of our games last year put sides to the sword after the bench was executed.

coaches plan against our run on side but the hidden danger is our bench & coach will take it to another level this season

I do agree though that Maubs is well suited to 9's footy. Thought Mortimer would be ideal aswell, probably one of the best support players in the comp.

Must say I'm surprised he's not in the squad.

Besides him being physically built for this more mobile format of the game he was used to model the 9s jumper a week or so ago, on the official site.

I genuinely just thought he'd be the first player picked.

No biggie, I'm sure the coach knows what he's doing.

Maybe he was injured at training...there's always one every year...SKD with a sliced liver or kidney one year.

Hopefully, if we don't have much luck in our first 6 matches of the season and get narrowly beaten in them all, and are on zero points...fans won't be rioting and calling for Robbo to be sacked.

Still think Trenticles could've used Maubs in the 9ers.
