I'd be disappointed if Fittler does play in the 9s. I'd much prefer we give one of young kids the experience in his place.

I can't see the point in living in the past. I'd rather embace the future and allow as many of our talented young'uns the opportunity as we can in the 9s. It's a perfect opportunity to give them a game of footy against quality opposition.

It's not as if playing the NYC prepares them for NRL.

There will be plenty of opportunities for younger players to get their turn in the tournament. And there are unlimited interchanges aren't there ? Plenty of younger players as well would surely benefit from that experience, being able to play with him. Everyone wins overall imo
