I suppose the NRL have got to keep it even somehow?

Morts at 7 and Sonny at 6 isn't too bad anyway.
    You were correct mate.

    That's farked.

    No byes before Origin.

Not even one. Surely we could all get at least one???

One game in Brissy at least, that's something I suppose.

Gonna be a tough year that's for sure.

    You know it makes sense.

Looks a tougher draw than last year but nothing to complain about.

The more I think about it now the more I think it might be a little bit of a blessing having no Byes before Origin.

With our two Byes coming after Origin 2 and 3 it will mean our Origin gang won't have to back up after their two Origin games. This surely will help prevent potential post-Origin fatigue and a team form slump, which we have seen in the past from teams such as the Storm and Broncos.

Besides that, the Sharks are a good draw before Origin as they'll be missing Gal, Fafita and Lewis. The Dogs and Knights will be tough, but we'll have the world's best 5/8 directing play so we should be sweet.

I see where you're coming from mate, makes sense.

Would be interesting to see from a players perspective what they prefer, the bye before or after Origin.

The Boggs may get a few called up also. Morris, T Rex, pEnnis, Reynolds and Tolman maybes.

While we're on it, one of the best things the club did last year, and they've done it again, is not moving any home games, like a lot of clubs do. Putting winning ahead of the cash grab of playing somewhere else just shows the mentality of the club at the moment, which I love.

The Tigers have smartened up and moved their home game with us away from Allianz and out to ANZ, but it's still better then Leichhardt or Campbelltown. The Anzac Day game is a Dragons home game, which is at Allianz obviously, so that's also a bonus for us.

I also like that the last two games of the year are vs tough teams, the Storm and Souths, and I love that they're both home games.

In the end of the day we don't really know what teams are going to improve and what teams are going to flop, but at this stage I reckon it's a pretty good draw.

Maybe I should change the title of the thread because I'm not annoyed?

P.S. Turk, Bronte is definitely not a Rabbits beach. Unless of course you were asking whether or not it was Ray Warren's home beach?

Around that we get Souffs, The Wankos away, The Boggs and Womanly.

                  Won't be to much ease.

Yep the moving a home game is useless with such a good team, especially the drawing power of a $BW.

Good to see we are rewarding the fans.

Do we take a break for the Test??? May be missing a few Bros that weekend.

I wonder if the club requested we have our byes post-Origin rather than before?

If so it's a very smart move. Our season won't be defined by those three matches. But it will be defined by what sort of shape we're in when we hit the finals; and those two weeks off will give the Origin boys crucial time off to freshen up.

It also became clear against the Dogs this year that we're still more than competitive without our Origin players so I believe we can still win 2/3 of those matches.

                        Not a bad draw....

Re Origin our top grade team wont be affected. Critics will be baying for Reynolds n Mutton.

Our 20s will be affected because Selectors will go left field and defy the Souffs halves yet again and pick Brooks and Hastings AS the halves pairing for Origin

Jennings will become a pariah just as he was in the RLWC and not get picked..... Hayne and Fergo will be the centre pairing.

Cordner will also be overlooked as the Blues selectors and Daley pump for Lewis, Gallen, Watmough, Merrin and Anasta in the backrow. and I forgot Nathan Merritt will be on the wing and captain.
