I believe the Roosters have been aware of Sonny's decision for some time. They were going to wait, but as soon as they read this mornings telegraph they decided to use Murdochs tactics and go for maximum damage. That newspaper has been treated with contempt by our great club. Happy days.

Hasn't it been good this year? The leak/s dried up. The media starved & started clutching at straws. We maintained dignity & just ignored them.

Maybe the media will now get the message. Treat us with respect & things might change.

I received the news via jman yesterday so I knew it was true. I then forwarded his text onto everyone in my address book under 'Roosters family'.
I must say I'm surprised because every interview he's given, he's spoken of how tough he's found it back in the NRL.
