I look forward to watching the replay of the game as the guys fought back really quickly to get the try we needed to get us back in the game. The Mitchell Pearce pass to Guerra through the gap - gorgeous stuff.

I'm so happy Anthony Minichiello is not the person to go down with 5 GF's losses 2-4 is better than 1-5. So happy for our Champion fullback.
If sbw stays mini's record may end up 3-3!

I was a bit concerned but as I said the redwhiteblue who was sitting with me it is still under two converted tries and there still is plenty of time left so it wasn't panic time.

Two tries behind in GF is not the place to be particularly against a side like Manly.

Just an awesome effort from everyone to stay calm and just know if they stuck to the plan and didn't panic they would get there.

Hats off to Manly they made us work so hard for that which makes it so much sweeter in the end. When we beat the warriors it almost felt like an anti climax because we won too easy in the end. Not this time! In doubt almost right to the end. One of the great games no matter who you follow and I can't wait to watch it again. And again, and again...
Likewise, I was quietly confident right up until we slipped 10 behind. Commented to the better half that if manly score next we are gone. Bit of a doubting period followed until we started to get a roll on & that doubt went.
The self belief in these guys is what got us to the big dance & continued at a crucial stage last night.

          Well done.

Not unless SBW can turn back time -- Mini's already lost 4.

I hear you Ox. I have been telling people for the last month that teams need to have a big lead at half-time to beat us, but I thought we were really struggling at 18-8 down. Once we got a sniff though, we rolled them as usual. I am struggling to remember a team that deserved to win the comp as much as we did this year. We have beaten Manly 4 times!! Amazing performance. We should all be really proud. Let's stick solid and turn this into a dynasty.

There's nothing to add, other than to say that I knew we'd win, even when we were down by 10.

We looked likely every time we were down their end and unlike our 2010 side, this lot are made from sterner stuff. We were always going to come home strong.

                So so proud.

I thought we were gone. I started crying saying "we've lost it, we've lost it". Just years and year of disappointment I guess. But when Jenko scored, you get this feeling like "yep, this is it"

I thought we were dead. Manly were well on top. We defeated them fair and square.

one the best moments of the game was seeing the annoying manly supporters talking shit about our team and players and supporters crying at the end of the game I couldnt stop laughing

I thought we were just as good as gone.

At 18-8 I basically shut down emotionally. I was a nervous and distraught wreck.

But credit to the boys for maintaining their composure. What a win.

Strangely I was sitting next to a womanly mate and at 18-8 I was telling him it was over, we were gone.

Then he's telling me it's only 2 tries and we have plenty of time.

                              I'm still stunned.

every single roosters player put their heart of there sleeve and were not going to give up, they worked hard all year, they were never gonna give up, that's why the roosters are the pride of the league
