Driving down with family as flights were extortionate at reasonable times and with 3 children can't do it! It's basically a day driving down and a day back but it's going to be so worth it! Accommodation is sparse. Looking on Wotif but only 3 stars left. Trying through travel agent today. Just cannot wait though! GO THE ROOSTERS!

If we win you won't need sleep, in fact you will be waiting till 8am to get into Easts Leagues.

Try 6A Grey St, if it still exists. They will put you up for a short stay.

Enjoy. I'm jealous in one way but know I'm too old really for such jockularities.

Mate I have observed you long enough on hereto know what you mean by 'a short stay', maybe that's just me assuming the worst too. Sort of place I can stay by the hour? Problem is I don't know what I'd o with the other 55 mins..

Here's hoping with get a SE QLD match next year maaaaate!

Train is definitely the go mate......I'm pretty sure all public transport is free with a match ticket.

I got flights from Brisbane return for $310 bucks. But had to fly back on the Tuesday as Monday's flight were crazy expensive...I am originally from eastern suburbs so accommodation not a problem. Fire up!

Flying from GC, parking for $22, flights $250. That's some good flights you got mate for $310. Mind you we both have to work Tuesday so no option to come back later than Monday.

Sadly was unaware the domestic terminal wasn't open 24/7 so ended up sitting on a bench for a couple of hours before it opened.

                Good day

$1000 is crazy Josh. Where you flying in from?
                Perth.
I don't mind though, as I've missed every GF since 2000, away with work. This is the first one I'm on Aussie soil for!

                      These flights are SO expensive.

I'm looking at $850 for two adults from the Gold Coast to Sydney.

Mate I got flights from Gold Coast leaving Sunday and returning first thing Monday morning. Two of us returned for $550. I heard flights on Tuesday back are quite cheap. Good luck mate.
