Are there any Sth East Qld Roosters heading/wanting to head down for the GF. My brother in law (Hegtherooster from here) and I are trying to pull an all nighter as the cheapest possible way to do things. Some cheap flights early in the morning as it stands.

Are there any Sth East Qld groups, doing similar or just going in general?

So are flights. Best I could get was $630 return to Townsville.

Hopefully it'll be worth it.

not surprising because it is school holidays, a long weekend and grand final weekend.Out of curiuosity, where are you staying?

We won't be staying down. We are flying down Sunday morning arriving sydney at 8.30 and then pull an all nighter to fly home 24 hours later. We'll be shattered but well worth it to be apart of it. Go ROOSTERS!

I did that in 2010.

Worked Saturday night then straight to the airport at 5am, then up all night and back to the airport.

Sadly was unaware the domestic terminal wasn't open 24/7 so ended up sitting on a bench for a couple of hours before it opened.

Normally we head to the game at about 10am pub crawl all the way there and arrive around 3:30ish.
This year staying in darling harbour so its looking like the same.

From memory you'll have to catch the airport train to Central and then a train from there to Homebush.

Try 6A Grey St, if it still exists. They will put you up for a short stay.
