The way things are going RND 26 could be a nothing game Where if that is the case Strong consideration should be given to resting players
My point being with this is that all the momentum that Melbourne had built up until the 2nd last round was lost. They had players going into a GF qualifier who hadnt had a solid hit out for a month.
While the semi system he has now changed the point I have made is still a valid one, resting players can cause a team to lose momentum which is not what you want going into the semi's. If we're good enough it doesnt matter who we play, if we play close to our best we win, even against Melbourne.Originally posted by turk-283Kurt 79 - Kags 0..

In recent history we have been an exciting side to watch. By recent history , I mean in the last 13 years or so. Between 2000-2010, we made 5 gf's ,we should have rightfully won three of those were we not dudded by the refs(most evidently: in the travesty of 2010),we've played in 6 finals series, and our side has always had international and origin footballers. You compare that to many teams in the comp and you'd find it hard to see similar sorts of stats. The only other sides I can think of are the Broncos, Melbourne( even though technically they have been stripped of their titles), and probably Manly during the Hasler period.
Souffs are a joke when you look at the last 10 years. They've made the finals twice in the last 11 years only to bow out in the opening stages.
Whether we win the minor premiership or the gf this year, I will always wear RWB and be proud of it. Many opposition fans will always play the "they buy all the good players card". That is complete and utter BS. Not every team that have purchased big name signings have managed to pull off success like we have this season.Comment of the year:
Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,
"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

They then had a week off and played the Warriors in the GF qualifier who were on a roll and got beaten.

To earn the right to have your team in the build up week leading to the big day is priceless... media saturation.
Hurts me more to lose that game than the big one TBH...I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.
